Significant investments are being made to modernize East Orange's infrastructure. The $83.3 million upgrade to the historic Brick Church Station will enhance accessibility and preserve the station's historic features, thereby improving the daily commute for residents.

To stimulate economic growth, East Orange has secured significant investments, such as the $317 million financing for The Crossings at Brick Church Station—a mixed-use development that will provide retail space and mixed-income housing, fostering job creation and economic vitality in the area .
